The spectrum always seems to shift back to the left. What a terrible stroke of bad luck, and things were just starting to go right.

Power to the people!

:3

REVOLUTIONARY.

Damn skippy. Don't want things to get too boring around here, after all.

So true. I realised ages ago when I stopped being a pre-pubescent monkey that writers are the people that ACTUALLY make shows and movies and just didn't get why they're getting shit all for it.

Actors shouldn't be getting 20 million per movie, they do fucking nothing. They don't spend hours working on material, they wave their arms around a bit and make facial expressions.

Hopefully this strike will open some eyes and people will start crediting the writers a bit more.

But Ben Affleck is so damned IMPORTANT.

I can give the actors credit, but not "Here's five million dollars" credit. I've never understood the fascination with giving people that don't produce anything of value large sums of money. Sports stars are multimillionaires, as are shitty actors. You have to be pretty damn good on the screen if I'm going to consider your salary justified, popularity isn't going to cut it.

I suppose this strikes home a bit more with me because I aspire to become a writer later on in life, but the collective ignorance has no excuse. There are people in the shadows making great things and they deserve the credit, not the puppet dancing on the stage.

Exactly. Personally I think writers'/actors' salaries should be swapped around for the sheer amount of work that they put in. I mean sure they went to acting school and whatnot but they can't do anything unless they are directed to do so. Sort of like professional puppets if you will.

I've always liked how the people that own things are usually better off than the people that do any real work. The writers are on contract, which is a legal bond, which means that they have to keep writing which means that....

They're looked at as property, in the end. What a waste of talent.

umm, unions suck and so do guilds. That's just the kind of crap that gets you fired from your job. The powers that be will find others that will easily take over the jobs of those who strike (scabs). And the only thing the writers will learn from the experience is not to mess with the major networks and studio executives. Screw the unions, and screw the WGA!

I'm sorry, I stopped giving you credibility when you wrote "umm" at the start of your sentence like the 14 year old girl that you are. Be sure to ask your mom to buy you some Bratz dolls from the toy store the next time she's driving you home from color guard practice. Keep shooting for cheerleader though, I'm sure they'll be able to look past the acne if you give it enough time.

And yes, I'm sure there would be no problem replacing the writers. If Mark Twain decided to stop writing, somebody else would just take his place. The same rule applies to the people that write the shows, they'll just be replaced and everything will be fine. Idiot.

Good job, you just wrote over a page about absolutely nothing.

Two years.

True True, all that is VERY true. But it is newgrounds, what do expect? Muffins? I want some muffin, but sadly, all the little babies here ate them already and didn't want to share.

Yeah, LegendaryFrog sure is funny.
