The spectrum always seems to shift back to the left. What a terrible stroke of bad luck, and things were just starting to go right.

The concert was really cool too bad you couldn't make it.
Mars Volta are amazing, I need to go to another concert soon.
As for Les Claypool, I actually had the pleasure of seeing him in concert, front and center. At one point he came out with a helmet on which had two lights attached to it where and proceed to stare at me for 5 minutes. He moves around rather strange live, somewhat like a bird.
I hope he stares me down and regurgitates food into my mouth like a loving father.
wut songs did they play
Bunch of the songs off their new CD, a bunch off Deloused, one that I recognized off Frances the Mute, two I recognized off Goliath, then some 20 minute long jam session towards the end. Their drummer is ridiculous.
Octahedron exceeded my expectations, I'd rank it tied with Deloused which was my previous favorite Mars Volta album.
I was surprised as well. They managed to pull out an equivalent album and didn't feel the need to fill it with 8 minute long songs of birds chirping.
cool!
