Now if only I could remember where to find it.

TorchTheBridge responds:

Yes! This man knows where his eggs are. (In his basket. If only he knew where the basket was!)

P.S.: Check the laundry room.

OMG BRILLIANT

It's good becuase I animated part of it. But I still don't get listed as one of the authors. ASDFASDFSDF!!!11!1!!

Kthx.

Mightydein responds:

As soon you approve me adding you to my buddy list than your co credit should be good to go shortly.

Why yes, Fourstar, it was beautiful.

The heavenly sounds that flow from your violin emit your very soul along with them. Your classical masterpiece sends me to a place that words can not express. Fine music such as this should be appreciated, not crowned with an award such as the one you have recieved. Apparently people do not understand the soul of a composer such as yourself.

FourStar responds:

yes, very few people understand my musical genious

Blargh

Was that Vash's gun from Trigun? No matter.

Livecorpse dies, everyone denies it at first(including me), idiots post that they are glad he is dead, Artificial leaves NG forever. Cerealboxclock(Zach Finley) dies, and Tom's official news topic gets less pages than LC does, and he died of an accident.

Livecorpse stabbed someone and shot a cop in the leg. Not intentionally, since his neighbor was apparently trying to break into his appartment, and he was trying to get away from the cop, but he did it. He didn't want to go to jail though, so he decided to kill himself. If he had just explained what happened with his neighbor instead of running away, this may have not happened.

Too bad he was having trouble paying his rent anyway, and he didn't want to live on the street, so he might have done it shortly after that. Either way, idiots need to get the fuck out of his thread.

R.I.P. LiveCorpse, you were one of the few members of this site that were worth anything.

scottmale24 responds:

yes it was his gun. its a nice gun. but that's not the point.

Touching

Time for me to ponder whether or not to put this on my favorites list. I'll go for.....yes.

Graphics wise, they were o.k. Nothing too spectacular, but good enough to make the message come through better. The point of this movie wouldn't have been conveyed if the graphics were horrible, since most people tend to lose interest when they see animation that doesn't live up to their standards. I'm not saying the graphics are bad at all, just not as brilliant as say....Bitey of Brackenwood, but this excells over it plot wise, so you get more points for that.

The sound was good enough. No voices, but that doesn't really matter, seeing as they probably would have cluttered it up. I always find that animations like this work well with nothing but music, so going without voices was a good choice. The only real problem was the blue text, which at times was difficult to read.

Now for the major part, and the reason you decided to make the animation. Style always falls before most of the other elements of a flash for me. You can have a flash with the best animation I've ever seen, but if the story is pathetic, the watcher is probably going to lose inerest. The inspirational story of a crippled child at his first day of school, being picked on by the prats that sit behind him, but finds someone kind enough to see through his disability. This leads to him wishing that he could walk, and through the wonders of a dream, is able to walk again, then winds the gold medal.

You get a 5, and a well earned daily feature award. Continue making flash, as you're one of the few authors that actually brings something worthwile to Newgrounds.

AligatorHead responds:

oh thankyou, glad you added to your favorates and make sure you enjoy the whole site of NG not just this.

Ctiger you bastard

Making movies about hot piss behind my back.

You gave this entry a 5, raising its score to 2.12!

THE SCORE IS NOT HIGH ENOUGH!

Ctiger responds:

I never! This was out afew months ago but n00bs kept blamming it because I had no batting average.
See the difference now?

Perfection

You give yourself far too little credit for this movie.

AubergineLock responds:

Well now...

I was palnning to submit this, get a few nasty reviews, mabye one good one, than it'll get blammed.

But, it came in, got horrible reviews, survived, then got a nice review!

/boom.

gaspness

You make flash movies?

/me learns something

Anyways, good flash. There are surely going to be a number of imbeciles that insist that making sprite movies takes little to no efforet, despite that they have never even tried to make any sort of movie themselves. People don't realize the amount of effort that it takes to create something as long as this movie, let alone make it high quality.

The graphics were superb, although at times my computer wasn't able to handle them without immense slowdown (fading in and out) and the custom made sprites looked good. Good use of blending together different characters from the Final Fantasies and making sprites of FF7 characters (sephiroth and Aeris)

The sound was great. The music was well incorporated into the movie, with the battle music every time the characters were dueling (for whatever reason, I'm sure the plot will reveal a bit more in the later installment) and the sound effects were always on cue whenever somebody got attacked.

Front page worthy indeed. Not many sprite movies are as well made as this. I just need to figure out what the hell is supposed to be happening. All it seems to be is a bunch of characters killing eachother for no apparent reason other than to win the tournament. I'll just have to wait for the next one.

4.5/5

HAcoreRD responds:

Finally! This is some1 who obviously has intelligence! Sprites still are work and this was HARD. And yes, those who say it takes no effort are level 1s with no profile. Am I shocked? Nah. Rabid, I give you credit you sooo smart :) thx for watching

The spectrum always seems to shift back to the left. What a terrible stroke of bad luck, and things were just starting to go right.
